Teddies Award Clarification Re: Totem Hill Inc.

Author: Troy Lanigan 2006/04/11
During the Month of March of 2006, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) carried an announcement on its website in relation to CTF's Annual Teddies Waste Awards for the year 2005 in which it was alleged that Totem Hill Inc. was awarded an oral contract by the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs and Northern Development. Further, it was inferred in this announcement that no paper work existed in relation to the contract and that no value was received for the fee paid.

CTF hereby withdraws the allegation and inferences referred to in their entirety and acknowledges that they are unfounded and that no evidence exists to support them and CTF hereby apologizes, unreservedly, for any embarrassment, inconvenience or injury which Totem Hill Inc. has sustained as a result of the announcement in question.
